From the start, we wanted our office to reflect who we are and what matters to us—sustainability, creativity, and a sense of community. We furnished our space with locally designed, sourced, and handcrafted furniture supporting small local artisans. The result is a warm, inviting space full of character. It’s more than just an office—it’s a place that tells a story, challenges the ordinary, and feels like home.

An earth-friendly workplace
We proudly call ourselves an earth-friendly office, because we are committed to continuously transforming our work practices into more environmentally conscious ones. From the start, we embarked on a journey to create a workspace that truly reflects our sustainable values. We furnished our space with locally designed, sourced, and handcrafted furniture supporting small local artisans.
The result is a warm, inviting space full of character where we genuinely enjoy coming together. It’s more than just an office—it’s a place that tells a story, challenges the ordinary, and feels like home.
We believe that every small change matters, and for us is not just a slogan, but a practice we actively put into action. Building upon the existing Green Office concept, we have incorporated earth-friendly practices in our everyday work. Having in mind the strong link between purchasing and waste, we are rethinking our use of resources, starting with energy, water, and paper.
Sustainability at the core of our work
From the start, we wanted our office to reflect who we are and what matters to us—sustainability, creativity, and a sense of community. We furnished our space with locally designed, sourced, and handcrafted furniture supporting small local artisans. The result is a warm, inviting space full of character. It’s more than just an office—it’s a place that tells a story, challenges the ordinary, and feels like home.
Complementing this, we implement energy-efficient technologies and practices—such as LED lighting, motion sensors, and energy-efficient appliances—to minimize electricity consumption and further reduce our environmental footprint.
In our green office, we have embraced a dress code reflecting our commitment to sustainability: we keep a casual dress code to reduce the pressure to buy new clothes. This way we encourage a more conscious consumption and foster an environment where individuals are valued for their contributions rather than their attire.
A Plant Loving Team
Plants play a vital part in our office. As part of aesthetics, they bring a natural element into our space, giving a fresh vibe and helping create a calming atmosphere. As natural indoor air purifiers, they improve air quality by providing oxygen and nurture a healthier environment where creativity can thrive.
Having plants around the office also reminds us to slow down and appreciate the little things, bringing a sense of tranquility and connection to nature into our daily lives.
Paper Management
Recognizing that paper is one of the most common sources of waste and a major cost factor; we are implementing a paper management policy focusing on reducing paper consumption and recycling.
We only print when required by law or when absolutely necessary, always using double-sided printing. This has significantly reduced our consumption of paper and toner cartridges. In addition, we are transitioning to sustainable supply chains, using recycled paper for many of our materials, including notebooks, calendars, and other printed materials distributed at our events.
Introducing RISO Printing to Albania
We understand the power of strong visuals in promotional materials, but we also believe that great design should not come at the expense of the environment. That is why we are proud to be the first organization in Albania to introduce RISO printing, an eco-friendly method that uses less energy and soy-based biodegradable ink. This sustainable alternative combines creativity with eco-friendliness, producing visually striking materials with unique textures and minimal environmental impact—plus, it’s more cost-effective!
Reducing Single-Use Plastics
From day one, we have followed a zero-plastic waste policy. We use durable glass, porcelain, and stainless steel kitchenware, and we prioritize environmentally friendly office supplies, furniture, and equipment, often made from recycled or sustainably sourced materials. This approach extends to event planning as well: instead of resource-intensive venues, we choose community-based, nonprofit, or small and medium-sized spaces that align with our sustainability values.
Go Local, Go Vegetarian
At our events and meetings, we serve locally sourced, seasonal, and vegetarian meals, supporting local farmers and reducing our carbon footprint. You won’t find imported shrimp at our table, but if you’re up for traditional pispili with fresh, seasonal leeks, you’re in for a treat! Any leftover food is packed in eco-friendly containers and is offered as takeaway to guest and participants of the event.
Green Transportation
Sustainable transport is one of our top priorities. As a forerunner in green mobility in Tirana, we exclusively use bikes for local travel and electric cars for long-distance journeys, setting a new standard for sustainable transportation in the city.
In line with this commitment, our office director opts to ride a pre-owned bike from our organization instead of using a car—saving money, reducing emissions, and promoting eco-friendly mobility. In fact, the total cost of maintaining the bike (including all repairs over the past three years) is only a fraction of what it would cost to maintain a car over the same period—proving that sustainable choices are not only better for the environment but also for the budget.
Sustainability is a continuous effort
We know sustainability is an ongoing process, so we continuously evaluate our consumption habits to find ways to minimize our environmental impact and identify areas for improvement. While big changes like installing solar panels may not be possible yet, we are committed to adapting our habits and leading by example. By continuously rethinking how we use resources and making conscious choices, we hope to inspire others to do the same, because sustainability isn’t just a policy, it’s a way of life.
